The Cinderblock Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2004 to provide mentoring and financial support to assist in the education and enlightenment of disadvantaged and marginalized students in urban areas.  The Foundation provides financial and academic support, scholarships, and mentoring.  It is the mission of the Foundation to ensure that all CBF scholars are provided with the support that can enable and empower them to become successful, goal-oriented adults, who are active in their communities and who positively influence their communities.  It is the belief of the Foundation that if young people are endowed with a sense of purpose, and shown unconditional love and support, they will acquire the ability to grow and to achieve great things--and become the beings that they were called into existence to be.  For these reasons, the Foundation has adopted three core principles.
